HVAC Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to oversee and manage HVAC projects from inception to completion. This role is essential in ensuring that all installations, repairs, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise HVAC installation and maintenance projects on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HVAC team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades involved in the project.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure standards are met.
  • Review blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates and concerns.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Superintendent or similar role in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and site management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with quality control, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Knowledge of budget management and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety compliance.
