Start-up & Installation Technician - Commercial HVAC

Location: Atlanta metro - traveling around Atlanta to customer sites!

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Start-up & Install Technician for our Commercial HVAC division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, start-up, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all regulatory standards.

* Must be a commercial HVAC start-up & install technician looking to grow with a 600 million dollar company!

Key Responsibilities

Install and start-up commercial HVAC systems, including split systems and roof systems.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
Ability to properly braze copper refrigerant piping.
Read and interpret schematics and mechanical prints to accurately assess installation needs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations regarding HVAC installations.
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications

1-3 years of proven experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, specifically in commercial settings.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to HVAC.
Familiarity with local codes and regulations governing HVAC installations.
Experience with ductwork installation and repair.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical prints.
Certification in HVAC technology or related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license, OSHA 10 cert, EPA cert required.
