Position: Senior Tax Manager
Salary: $150,000 - $250,000

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Tax Manager to join our team in San Diego, California. For nearly 40 years, we've been dedicated to providing exceptional tax and accounting services while fostering professional growth, client success, and community engagement.
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex tax engagements, mentoring our team, and driving the continued growth of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
Build and nurture client relationships while demonstrating deep knowledge of their industries.
Prepare internal memoranda, written guidance, private letter rulings, and other submissions for tax authorities.
Provide advanced technical training and leadership for the team.
Lead staff mentorship programs, managing performance and professional development.
Oversee multiple clients, budgets, and productivity goals effectively.
Contribute to practice growth by identifying market opportunities and implementing thoughtful leadership initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA required.
At least 8 years of experience in tax with proven leadership capabilities.
Strong expertise in complex tax regulations and compliance.
Exceptional communication, mentorship, and project management skills.
A proactive mindset to foster team and business growth.
