Position Overview
The Senior Electrical Estimator will play a crucial role in the estimation and bidding process for electrical projects, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals. This position requires expertise in commercial and healthcare sectors, particularly in data centers and hospitals, to support the company's growth and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for commercial projects, focusing on healthcare and data center facilities.
Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and associated costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create comprehensive bids that meet project requirements.
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality of work.
Provide input on project scheduling and resource allocation based on estimates.
Assist in the final negotiations and presentations to clients regarding project costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on commercial, mission critical, or healthcare projects.
Proficient in estimation software and tools.
Strong understanding of electrical systems design and installation processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to electrical work.
