Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Roseville, CA or Pleasanton, CA.
Salary: $90k - 170k+.
Requirements: Expertise in grading, storm drainage/flood control, and water/sewer system design is desired. Project management experience is a plus. Experience with land use entitlements in California is desired. Software used in this role may include: AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project), HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XP-Storm, and WaterCAD.

Position Overview
The Senior Civil Design Engineer - Land Development will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering design projects related to land development. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet all regulatory requirements while adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects focused on land development, including commercial and residential sites.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD for creating detailed design drawings and plans.
Conduct grading, drainage, and other civil engineering calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineers to integrate designs and resolve any conflicts.
Review and approve design documents, ensuring they meet the necessary codes and standards.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in design processes and best practices.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on land development projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations related to land development.
Experience in grading and drainage design for commercial and residential projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
