Customer Success Manager (Mid-Level)
Location: New York, NY or Washington, DC (On-Site, 1 Day Remote Flexibility Possible)
Compensation: Up to $160K Base + Commission + Equity

We're hiring two mid-level Customer Success Managers to join a fast-growing, venture-backed fintech startup. You'll play a critical role in managing a book of high-value accounts, driving product adoption, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and growth.
This is a high-touch, post-sales role with a performance-driven focus - ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, works well cross-functionally, and knows how to balance relationships with results.
Own the full post-sale relationship for ~50 high-value accounts
Rapidly onboard new customers and help them get up and running
Drive platform usage, customer engagement, and ongoing spend
Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor to customers
Manage renewals while identifying and executing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to deliver feedback and enhance the customer experience
3-7 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role
Proven success managing 50+ accounts, ideally with $200-300K+ contract values
Strong communicator who's proactive, confident, and thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Background in SaaS or service-driven industries is strongly preferred
Prefer to avoid candidates from large, slow-moving corporations or industries with weak customer service reputations (e.g., pharma, telecom)
Customers are onboarded quickly and effectively
Accounts maintain high levels of product usage and spend
You're consistently retaining and growing your book of business
You're seen as a trusted partner by customers and a key voice internally
Base Salary: Up to $160K
Performance-based commission + equity
